It IS directly competing with Alias. We have two SGIs and a bunch of Pentiums and PowerMacs.
We opted for LIghtwave instead of Alias on the SGIs. We are also using LW on the Pentiums and will
probably get PowerMac versions when available thanks to the Money saved by NOT buying Alias.
